There was a time when our founder had a chance to try a local fruit liqueur in Japan. At that moment he had no idea what it was, after tasting it he was surprised by the refreshing taste!  Then he only knew it was called "Yuzu" in Japan.

After returning to Malaysia, he found out that Malaysian has little knowledge about Yuzu Sake. Hence, he decided to launch "9981yuzu - An Online e-commerce that will focus on Japanese Yuzu, Umeshu, Fruits Liqueur, and Sake.

We hope to share Japan's sake history & culture knowledge with everyone who visited our platform. Not just enjoying drinking but also understanding each bottle's history. Come and ask us any question, we do have Certified Sake Sommeliers ready to serve you!
